SUNSHINES (WIS) AND WASPS (WJS) BREAKFAST AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

We are excited to announce that Willesborough Schools are launching their partnership of Breakfast and After School Clubs on Wednesday 5th September 2018.  We have made a considerable investment in the expansion and redecoration of our rooms, new furniture and new resources, so that there is flexibility in the provision for the children across both schools.   In addition to these changes we have also increased the ratio of staff to enhance our flexibility further.  All provision will take place on the Infant School site in the 3 mobile classrooms where the WIS Breakfast Club, Acorns and Kittens are run at present.  We have developed this provision to ensure our clubs are more accessible for families with children on both sites and have also made the times and costings consistent.  This will ensure the continuation of care, as the children will have familiar adults who know their needs.

Breakfast club (7.50-8.50am)

The Breakfast Club team will be:

Karen McGinnis, Adele Coniam, Sam Warren, Lauren Reed, Kelly Knight, Claire Griggs

Cost: Breakfast club sessions will be £2.50 per morning (£12.50 per week).

Payment:

We now only accept online payments for Breakfast & After school clubs. However, we will accept cash payments on the very rare occasion. Payment is required in advance for each session that your child attends, and must be paid at the start of each week or term. To pay online you will need a copy of your unique code. This was sent out to all pupils, if you did not receive this, please contact the office and they will provide you with this. Once you have this code, please follow the instructions below with the following two options:

I already have a scopay.com account:

Log on to your account using your existing username and password that should have been sent to you from the school. Select the Link Accounts option from the Your info menu heading and enter the unique online link code to add your account.

I don’t yet have a scopay.com account:

Visit www.scopay.com/school and enter your details using the Register as a New User.

Follow the instructions on the screen to enter your details and add your unique online link code when prompted.

If you need help registering your account, you will find links to a Quick Reference Guide and a short video tutorial at www.scopay.com/school.

Please contact the school if you require any further assistance.

Contacts:

You need to provide the details of three responsible adults (including yourself) who may collect your child from the club. Please ensure that these details are up to date so that we can contact you quickly in the case of an emergency.  Only these adults will be able to collect your child unless you have given written permission in advance for another adult to collect.

We ask that you collect your child promptly from the After School Club at 4.00pm, 5.00pm or 6pm depending on the session you have booked.

Medication:

Please ensure that you fill out any medical details and medication that your child takes on the registration form. The club will follow the School policy for giving medicine, and will only administer medication prescribed by a Doctor with the child’s name on the prescription label. If your child needs medication, please ensure that you have completed and signed the medication form available from the school office.  If your child has asthma medication in school, this will be taken with your child to the club for use as necessary.

At breakfast club children are able to choose what they would like to eat and drink from a selection of healthy breakfast options including cereal, fruit, yoghurts, pancakes, toast and crumpets.

When they have finished their breakfast there is a wealth of toys they can play with to entertain them before they start their school day..
